It is famous for its light-filled glass atrium, brick construction, and ornate iron stairways. My friends had Pasta and Pizza and said theyre good. The drinks are beautiful and tasty. Its right by the pink wall so grab a drink and snap some pics ! It is ok. Street needs to be washed. Noted for next time! A large portion of land near the sign was added to the park thanks in part t a rather large donation from the Hugh Hefner Foundation.
What can you say, the GO is iconic on a number of levels.
Architecture pearl in DTLA.
We passed several people however the walk up is not crowded. If you are enjoying unique buildings and their architecture - this place definitely must be visited. This is the crme de la crme of planning apps! Even when I asked for more information so I could contact the brand myself, they were incredibly unresponsive. Their coffee is also amazing and it does not taste cheap (obviously!). The area is also where people can set out on ships to go to Catalina Island and ride on the antique carousel. It is free and you can chill and see as little and as much as you want. But one thing you may not know about Long Beach & that will definitely add a fun twist to your typical beach post is our bike path! There are ample opportunities for you to take photos on the way up where the sign is very clear. The canals are somewhat hidden, and its easy to just walk by them and miss them if you didnt know that you were there.
A visit to Venice is not complete without a stroll along these stunningly beautiful, almost always sunny canals.
They have a great dinosaur logo and merch available if he speaks to you :)
Ballast Point and Boathouse on the Bay possibly have the best waterfront sunset views in the whole city. And no one will judge you, because Art. I will definitely be going back! 5/5
It is a faux lighthouse and is only there as a dedication to the citys sea-faring past. If you want to impress your date bring them here. Love love love! Open-air observation deck providing 360-degree views of the city & a unique glass slide.
We ate at the Winston Churchill restaurant, the food was fantastic and the atmosphere was phenomenal. this is really nice area to live in with a few minutes walk to the beach.
Charming shopping village features colorful boardwalk shops & restaurants amid scenic harbor views. Second, you should try their cocktails!
Yupppp, I didnt think so. Wonderfulness! Trails are VERY POORLY marked, better have a good sense of direction, not many places to stop to pee so you have been warned.I suppose must people have cell phone navigation but I am not in the 21 century yet. It mirrors a similar design that Venice beach installed in 2017. Some of my favorites include the graffiti love wall by Ruben Rojas (on the Flower Street side, between 7th&8th), the pink & orange block heart wall by Matt Smiley (in the main courtyard), and the colorful whimsy creatures mural (on 8th & Flower St), and the living wall in the main courtyard.
(Actually, Weve traveled the world and would argue its on par with the best coffee anywhere.) They have the seating areas barricaded and give you a hassle just to sit down. Nice place to browse cute little shops. Go to the BLOC and enjoy the atmosphere!!! While this store has a beautiful array of products, the customer service is terrible here. The original iced latte they make is great! Shoreline Village is a small area in the Rainbow Harbor area of downtown Long Beach along the marina.

Classic downtown LA landmark. They had a great mix of comfort and convenience along with original fittings, fixtures, decorations that really take you back in time. Whether you decide to grab a beer and head up to Ballast Point's rooftop patio or gracefully sip wine & sway to the live music at Boathouse on the Bay, you really cant go wrong. My choice was perfect!
A lot of interesting shops and things to do along the way to break it up.
The outdoor seating areas are well spaced apart, and the rocking chairs are a really pleasant option.
I frequented this store previously and on my last purchase spent over $1000 there.
The Queen Mary in the background was a nice touch.
Frank Gehry-designed music hall with striking steel architecture & pristine acoustics.
But food and coffee are bad, I wouldn't recommend to have snacks where.
You should visit there if you have a chance to go around there.
This is true Instagram gold we wouldnt lie. The space was clean, there's a cool museum going up, and a clear glass slide that takes you down 1 floor to the deck.
I was pleased with the boardwalk aka shoreline village to say the least. This is my first collaboration we as individuals are artists . Had a great meal today at Bottega. You may recognize this architectural landmark from many popular movies and TV shows, including Blade Runner and 500 Days of Summer.
Third, Our Server, food, the view was just amazing. Amazing trip. Its a little pricey at $33/person (including riding the slide), but the views from the 70th floor were truly breathtaking. This path can take you all the way over to Parkers Lighthouse in Shoreline Village if you're ambitious enough!
If you have a chance to go to an event that takes places on the rooftop at Row DTLA, definitely go the views of the city and skyline are pretty sweet from there! They also offer free WiFi and a concierge desk that's staffed during the day. Snap gorgeous photos of our legendary vessel from afar or grab dozens of selfies while on board or at one of their many fabulous events; either way, your #QueenMary pic is bound to rack up likes. Love the study in color and graceful architecture. A lot of attractions, restaurants and you can see sea lions. Upstairs they have the cool "photo spots" and book vaults. Amazing!!
We always came here for evening concerts and theres barely time to go outside. I do not like heavy dressing and this salad was just right! Go to Union Station in Los Angeles if you want to be treated like a sub-human. Navigate backward to interact with the calendar and select a date. Surrounded by striking cacti and unique sculptures, this is the perfect setting for an all-out Instagram photo shoot. Wow! When I went a few months ago the inside was closed but I did get some great exterior shots! I cant recommend it enough!
Quiet and peaceful.
What better way to show gratitude for all life. I adore well done, crispy fries and that is exactly what we got with the burger. You can also walk along the ocean as well as the boardwalk leading to the Aquarium. Rent a bike and glide along our waterfront path as you shamelessly post all of the pics/boomerangs/videos to your Instagram.
View from top of parking structure is just amazing.
Probably the most recognizable landmark in Long Beach is the Queen Mary.
The slide was fun and it was cool to just walk around and take in the views. If you visit here absolutely you will love it. You can park for free on West Observatory Road, West Canyon Road, and the upper parking lot by the Observatory on Monday through Friday from opening until 12:00 P.M. and on Saturday and Sunday from opening until 9:00 A.M. Cozy vibe, great coffee. This is especially the case at Bottega Louie the macarons in their display case always make me swoon there are just so many of them, in the most scrumptious flavors, in the prettiest colors, making this one of the most Instagrammable places in LA! Awesome!
Long Beach special events bring in visitors throughout the year to experience a variety of festivals, sporting events, and celebrations. Great place to walk and enjoy the Long Beach scenery.
There's also a bar up there if your up for a cold drink or coffee. Free parking, parking lot A (bigger) and parking lot (B) small and closer to trail.
The sauce on the duck made the dish - just the exact right amount of heat and perfect flavors.
Many of us love traveling on the Wanderlog team, so naturally were always on the hunt find the most popular spots anytime we travel somewhere new. My only complaint is that they sat our party of 4 at a tiny table. The waffle however was given to me in a plastic cup and I found that cheap. The views from up here are amazing where you can see all of Long Beach all the way to LA. I could have drank 5 or them. Now this is just a fun one! Had a phenomenal shopping experience! A pretty and cozy cafe. I love this coffee spot. It's much larger than I expected and the displays are very interesting. Great selection on drink, food, and ambiance! I would recommend this spot. There are many streets in the city (and surrounding areas) that are lined with those tall palm trees that are an iconic LA sight, some of which are already near several of the most Instagrammable places in LA that I mention in this article. Compact green space offering panoramic vistas, BBQ & picnic areas & walking paths.
What a nice park.
My only issue is the music selection which ruins the atmosphere and dont match the area. . Cant wait for dessert!!
No words can describe its beauty!! Every corner that you turn is a new surprise. I stayed out on the upper terrace enjoying the unbelievable night view of the city and surrounding area.
Also cant ignore the wonderful ocean views, sunsets, and dinners provided during your stay.
You could cover your Instagram page with all of the different murals you find throughout Long Beach, and TBH we highly recommend that you do. Its Peaceful & its a great area to vibe. The striking exterior of the auditorium, which is one of the most unique and Instagrammble places in LA, features curving panels of stainless steel that are meant to resemble silver sails.
The angles, the materials were incredible. We decided to see what all the hype was about today and on a whim made the trek downtown to go to Slyspace.
This is a perfect place to stop by and catch a few pics of the palms and Hollywood sign. Its in front of the Pink Wall. It's currently $50,000 per star to get a star after nominated.
It depends on when you visit!
What! A book-lovers paradise! During Christmas time, it's even more beautiful!
I love Long Beach, the free 11am yoga at the bluff, the breakfast and lunch spot rugby on the beach! My wife and sons saw one of the planetarium shows and they thoroughly enjoyed it. Especially there new works programs.
Not that weve posted either of those to our own pages before or anything. Theres not even a spot to charge your phone in the waiting area and if you find one around the building they will start harassing you saying you cannot charge your device. Can be seen from the top of this hill. Finally found a parking space in the front! Steak is good too. Whether youre visiting Long Beach, California for business, fun or both, youll always find something unconventional todo.
I especially liked the plush fake grass area to sit on. Sneak away from Venice Beach and discover the sequestered world of the Venice Canals.
You can see the Hollywood Sign on the right side up on Mt. I'd call before you go if you're looking to take a tour or stay the night.
I got the berries and walnuts waffle which ended up being too sweet because of the syrup, iced sugar and whipped cream they add.

Definitely spend a few hours to browse all the books here, and take in all the installations at one of the most Instagrammable places in LA. This art deco landmark from 1935 features a high-tech planetarium, public telescopes & city views. The worker there, Sydney, was so incredibly helpful and generous!
Also you can glance at all the houses along the canal which you would probably cannot afford (or at least I can't). The cocktails were great! The nightlife is so much fun so many things to do I will definitely recommend this place to everyone. Really!!! Portion size was decent and not too pricey. Is it just me, or are macarons just about the most Instagrammable dessert?. I'm so glad to have this in our city.
The area hosts a collection of fine dining restaurants and shops. I just recently tried their Greenie Bagel, and it was really yummy and fresh. Gift shop had alot of neat trinkets as well!
This place was awesome and wow. really lovely place for all things books!!
They really have a giant awesome ornament that you can take a pic in.
We went on a Tuesday night around 8pm and got a table right away. The Village could use more interesting stores. The location on Melrose is also nearby several other spots on this most Instagrammable places in LA list, so you can definitely spend an afternoon shooting around at all of them! I had never seen this in person before so that was really cool.
Press the question mark key to get the keyboard shortcuts for changing dates.
My only strike against it is no available outlets for charging your devices, none of the many concierges will charge for you, and both the portable battery charging rental stations were not working.
There is several reasons - it's real gem in DTLA, and as movie lovers you will find this building in a lot of legendary movies such as "Blade Runner" (1982), "The Unfaithful" (1947), "Shockproof" (1949), "D.O.A" (1950), "I, the Jury" (1953), "Good Neigbor Sam" (1964), "Lethal Weapons 4" (1998), "Pay it forward" (2000), "What Women Want" (2000), "500 Days of Summer" (2009) and famous winner of Oscar's "The Artist" (2011).
We barely had enough room for our entrees and drinks, otherwise the experience was great. There are two outdoor patios with sweeping views of the city. Sunset from Ballast Point - Boathouse on the Bay. Ornate lodging on a 1936 ocean liner, offering art deco decor, fine dining & a spa. The best way to experience it, in my opinion, is by hiking to the Hollywood sign.
The staff was so friendly and they have great music!
They always do a GREAT job with the designs on their lattes - very unique. The lighthouse sits atop a hill with a spiraling walkway on the narrow peninsula in Shoreline Aquatic Park. Yeah, so it may be the most touristy AF place in LA (and locals definitely avoid it like the plague)but I mean, the place attracts 10 million visitors a year for a reason, and is therefore one of the most Instagrammable places in LA. I was happy to have this experience, and would definitely recommend anyone to see it once in their lifetime. Pizzas, pastas & small plates in a bright, bustling space, plus weekend brunch & macarons to-go. Otherwise very hard to see. The historic Union Station is not only the largest passenger rail terminal in the western United States, but also one of the most beautiful. Laid-back daytime coffeehouse serving made-to-order java drinks & teas, plus pastries. We recommend a cute smoochy pic with one of the bridges in the background or a beautiful sunset photo with the prow (front) of the boat in the foreground. Moderate uphill 6.5 mile out and back.
There are so many cool book related art pieces around, and actual art galleries on the second floor!

My only gripe is that they make you pay for parking. My suggestion is to come at aperitif hour (Monday-Friday 4-6pm) during the winter months, this happens around sunset time, so not only do you get incredible sunset views, you get to enjoy it with a $6 glass on wine in hand.

Understandable tho.
