During the fall (called "Field Season"), the Marching Band and Color Guard coalesce as a team and perform at competitive tournaments throughout San Diego and Southern California against other high school music programs. In 2013 we entered the WCWG Championships ranked #1 in all of Southern California, taking a Gold medal in our qualifying round. Scholarships and individual fundraisers will be announced. New members that did not march the fall guard will also be required to purchase their team gear (warm ups, back pack, practice attire, SD Guard shirt, etc.). The Color Guard is part of the DNHS Music Program. We have performed at Disneyland and Padres games, and recently have been asked to perform at local businesses.
