Offenders are asked tough questions such as, What were you thinking about at the time? and What do you think you need to do to make things right? The victim is asked, "How has this affected you and others? and What needs to be done to square things with the offender?, In that circle, we all can have our say," said Taylor.
Going to a circle doesnt mean an offender gets a pass on punishment. They are focused on the education, safety and the overall well being of thie students. Theyve formed these really nice relationships that when somebody says something, if theyre hurt or theyre upset, if somebodys passed or somebodys sick, theyll go huddle around the person and they say theyre sorry for their loss," Battista said.

McD is an overall exceptional school which seeks to build leaders in the community. No, we are all able to sit and look at each other equally.. Overall if you are involved with your child's academic everything will be okay.
The one issue I have is with some teachers not responding to emails I've sent show some courtesy.

Taylor said there are some offenses like hitting a teacher or bringing drugs or weapons to school that automatically lead to suspensions. My two sons attend dpmms and they have informed me that the restrooms are filthy why should any ones child use the restroom under those conditions.
They clear away desk chairs and gather in the back of the room for a few minutes.
White has two children in the county school system. 2 happy kids get off the bus every day.
"Its turned into a little family.. They have really good magnet programs. They hope the technique will make schools safer and reduce the number of students getting kicked out.
Beytin told the board that at one school, she wouldnt say which one, five adults have been hurt including one who remains out with a concussion. The adminstrators are fabulous! Not to mentioned academically supportive of their students.
